I re-discovered the enjoyment of painting when relocating to Vietnam in 2002. Painting taught me how to look differently at the world around me.

My paintings are like a diary: Changes and movements in life are reflected in a change of style and technique. A returning source of inspiration is my admiration for women who show strength, courage and beauty.
Also alternating painting styles gives me fresh air and new inspiration.
I feel much gratitude for the inspiring training from Bertrand de Gatines, during four years in Vietnam. He taught me how to look in shadow and light reflections. Also many thanks to Wojetek Pakowski, in Poland, who learns me to see shapes with it's negative spaces.
For me painting enriches my life.
